Bauman to Throw Out First Pitch at Fenway Park
Boston Marathon Bombing victim says it was something he was looking forward to.

Boston Marathon Bombing terrorist attack survivor and Chelmsford resident Jeff Bauman is getting to throw out the first pitch at Fenway Park on Tuesday night when the Red Sox take on the Philadelphia Phillies.
Bauman, speaking on the Dennis & Callahan sports radio show on WEEI out of Boston, said he expected it to be fun and was excited about it, since he was a baseball player in school. When asked if he was looking forward to the opportunity, Bauman said, "Yeah ... it's going to be awesome."
Bauman told the show’s hosts that he hadn’t yet practiced throwing from his wheelchair but would be doing so later today.

Soon, Bauman will be getting prosthetic legs. He had also been meeting with soldiers with prosthetics and learning from them. They were “living life, surviving, and they were very happy,” he said.
When asked if he was angry at all due to the terrorist attacks and Bauman said, no.
“I haven't really been angry, no,” he said. “Confused ... but I'm not really angry though ... I’m staying positive … it’s not fun to be down.”
David Ross will be catching the pitch, Bauman said. Game time is at 7:10 p.m.
