Baseball Nabs Win After Comeback

After a comeback in the 7th inning, the Lions pulled off a 7-6 win over Westford Academy.

Going into the final innings of their game against the Grey Ghosts Friday, the Chelmsford High baseball team was losing by 6 runs. The Lions played at in North Chlemsford.

Westford managed to score three runs in the fifth, solidifying their lead in the game. In response, the Lions fired back and won the game.  Driscoll hit a two run home run in the sixth, and set the pace for the rest of his team.

In the seventh and final inning, Zaher  hit a single to bat in two runs, and Cue made the final hit of the game,  batting in an additional run for the win.
