Campaign Notebook: Dahlberg for State Senate Releases List of Endorsements
Submitted by Dahlberg For State Senate.

The Dahlberg Committee released a list of endorsements Monday that its candidate has earned in advance of the September 14 Republican primary:
- Paul Cellucci, former US ambassador to Canada and governor of the commonwealth;
- Lucile "Cile" Hicks, former state senator, who represented much of what is now the Third Middlesex District in the State Senate from 1991 to 1996;
- Brian Lees, former longtime State Senate Republican leader;
- Brian Cresta, former chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party and former state representative;
- Susan Pope, former state representative from Lincoln, Sudbury, and Wayland;
- Reed Hillman, 2006 Republican nominee for lieutenant governor, former state representative, and former commander of the Massachusetts State Police;
- Diane LeBlanc, Waltham city councilor; and
- Greg Howes, Concord Selectman.
"I'm honored to have the official support of these distinguished leaders and public servants," said Dahlberg. At a pre-primary election celebration at Concord's Colonial Inn last week, Cellucci gave a rousing speech in support of Dahlberg's candidacy, calling Dahlberg "one of the strongest candidates" in this year's state legislative races and stating that he "will bring some fiscal sanity and common sense to Massachusetts" if elected. "Eric's independence, ideas and integrity are a winning combination for the nine communities of the district," said Hicks when she officially signed on to Dahlberg's Steering Committee last October.
