CGC Enhances North Common

The North Chelmsford Vinal Square Improvement Committee gets a helping hand from the Chelmsford Garden Club. On May 1, 2005 the Chelmsford Garden Club donated a gazebo for the common in Vinal Square. Since that time they have continued to improve and beautify the common by installing a sprinkler system and planting flowers. Most recently they recycled two white urns found in the DPW and filled them with flowers. One was placed in front of the World War I monument where they plant and maintain seasonal flowers. The second urn was placed in front of the North Chelmsford Hardware Store. From Heart Pond to Vinal Square no nook or corner of Chelmsford escapes the devoted attention of Chelmsford Garden Club.
