CGC Fashion Show Update
This article is in regard to news about our silent auction and raffle.

As preparation continues for Chelmsford Garden Club’s social event of the season, some very unique articles have shown up on the list of silent auction articles. Probably the most interesting is a blush mink stroller with/blush fox tuxedo. This exquisite medium size coat of U.S origin was purchased at Lord and Taylor for $7000 (full documentation is available). It is in perfect condition and the minimum bid is $500. Another highly sought after item is a queen size handmade quilt in the black star pattern. The creator of the quilt spent over $400 for material and the cost of quilting. Be sure to inspect this work of art. One store owner made a generous donation of 7 bottles of wine and a club member enhanced the basket with wine glasses, napkins and many other items. This would make the perfect wine lover Christmas gift. On a more whimsical note, there is a “Little Drummer Boy Doll”, a handcrafted porcelain doll, with certificate of authenticity for the Aston-Drake Galleries. A young child or a doll collector would love this exquisite doll. You will never see a more interesting collection of high quality items than those assembled by the Chelmsford Garden Club.
The Fashion Show will take place on November 13 at the Chelmsford Senior Center. Doors open at 6:00 pm for a social hour and the show will begin at 7:30 pm. You can get tickets for $20 at Harrington Liquor Store or by calling 978-251-1635.
