CGC Scholarship Award 2015

This article gives detail about Susan Coughlin who was awarded the Chelmsford Garden Club 2015 Scholarship Award from Chelmsford Garden Club

The Chelmsford Garden Club Co-Presidents, Brenda Lovering and Carolyn Langevin and Debbie Linnehan, Scholarship Chairman have presented a $1000 Scholarship to Sarah Coughlin, a 2015 graduate of Chelmsford High School. Ms. Coughlin was an honor student and received many awards. She will attend Temple University to pursue a double major in Environmental Studies and International Affairs with a minor in Political Science. She feels that her chosen studies will enable her to enact meaningful change in environmental policy and to increase awareness of global environmental issues, particularly in developing countries. She thinks that enjoying nature shouldn’t be a privilege; it should be a basic human right. She is ready to begin her college career and work towards knowledge that will help her make the world a better place. The Club congratulates her for her accomplishments and wishes her a happy and successful future.
