Chelmsford Police Chase: 3 Break-in Suspects Arrested

Chelmsford police said officers chased down three break-in suspects early Thursday in the Manning Road area.

CHELMSFORD, MA — Chelmsford police this week arrested three vehicle break-in suspects following a chase into the woods. Police said on Thursday at about 2:30 a.m., officers said received a report the suspects were going through unlocked vehicles on Manning Road near Delmore Drive.

"Three units were in the area within two and a half minutes," police said in a statement. "The first responding units encountered three subjects running into the woods on foot. All three subjects were in custody a short time later."

Chelmsford police officers, a K-9 unit and Lowell police officers worked together to arrest the individuals, authorities said.
