Chelmsford Police: Dangerous Road Conditions, Becoming Extremely Slick

Chelmsford Police Sunday Night issued an alert for dangerous road conditions due to ice.

At about 4:30 p.m., police said that sanding trucks are out as the roads are getting extremely slick. Police are urging drivers to use caution and stay in if they can.

Across the state, multiple crashes were reported.

More rain will hit town all day and into the night—and there’s a chance of a thunderstorm, too, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a hazardous weather alert.
