Chelmsford Public Garden Coming Soon
This article gives the progress on establishing the Chelmsford Public Garden and invites interested citizens to help fund this project.

The Chelmsford Garden Club has designed and provided foundation funding to establish The Chelmsford Public Garden located at 7 North Road. Residents have generously donated funds for benches, picnic tables and trees. Local businesses have donated loam and excavation services, installation of a sprinkler system, installation of a wheelchair path, and the town DPW will support us where needed. But more funding is needed: to purchase wheelchair path pavers, a fence, additional plants, lighting, and signs – main welcoming sign and signage in recognition of the generous donors who helped us bring the Chelmsford Garden Club project to fruition.
We need your help! Your tax-deductible donation will ensure that, like the old town halls current CCA, Common’s Monument, Toll House, and purple beech tree bench, The Chelmsford Public Garden will enhance town center now and for future generations. Donations will be listed on a sign in the Garden from $49 to $500 or more. Please make checks payable to “The Chelmsford Garden Club” and mail to Susan Callahan, 5 Pennsylvania Ave., Chelmsford, MA 01824.
