Chelmsford Rain Barrel Discount Program for Residents

Chelmsford is offering residents the opportunity to purchase a Great American Rain Barrel at a discount price through a community program.

The Great American Rain Barrel is available in three colors; Forest Green, Earth Brown or Nantucket Gray at the low cost of $79 versus the retail price of $119. To take advantage of this community program discount visit this link from the company or call (800) 251-2352.

Each 60 gallon Great American Rain Barrel is fully re-purposed, comes with a hard top, wide mouth, removable lid, a screen, a plastic spigot threaded for hose connection, two ¾ inch overflow valves and a choice between two ports to place your spigot. The barrels are 39 inches tall, 24 inches in diameter and are 20 lb. empty, according to the website.

Barrels will be available for pick up on Tuesday, April 28 at the Chelmsford DPW which is located at at 9 Alpha Road in Chelmsford.

Orders must be received by April 21 at 5 p.m.
