Chelmsford Resident Scoring Against Cancer on April 4
Dana-Farber Rink Rats playing charity hockey game to benefit the Jimmy Fund.

Christopher Glidden, a Chelmsford resident, will be among the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute doctors, researchers, and staff who will play a charity hockey game against the Boston Bruins Alumni to benefit the Jimmy Fund, which supports adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber. The Dana-Farber Rink Rats’ game will be held at 1 p.m., April 4 at Veterans Memorial Rink in Somerville, Mass.
Chris is a carpenter at Dana-Farber. He played hockey growing up and in high school, and still occasionally plays pickup games on weeknights. He said that the different ages and skill levels of his Rink Rats teammates has made it fun to practice for this “awesome way to raise money for Dana-Farber.”
Chris has committed to raise $1,000 in order to play in the April 4 game. Game tickets for spectators are $20 for adults and $10 for children, and are available online and at the door. Limited free parking is available. To support Chris or purchase advance tickets, visit www.jimmyfund.org/rinkrats.
