Chelmsford School Employee Indicted by Grand Jury in Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child Case
Christopher Holt was arraigned back in January in connection with the alleged sexual assault on a child under 14.

A Chelmsford Public Schools’ employee has been indicted by a Middlesex County Grand Jury after being charged with indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
Christopher Holt, 60, of Lowell is expected to be arraigned in Superior Court at a yet to be scheduled date following this indictment.
On Jan. 22, Holt, a paraprofessional in the Chelmsford Public Schools and a site supervisor for Chelmsford Public Schools Community Education, was charged with the crimes of Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child

Back in January, Judge Stacey Fortes set bail at $10,000 cash with the conditions to include Holt have no contact with the victim in this case, have no contact with the family members of the victim or with potential witnesses, and that he not work or volunteer in a capacity where he would be with children under the age of 16. He was also ordered to stay away from Chelmsford school properties, surrender his passport, comply with GPS monitoring and not have any unsupervised contact with any children under the age of 16.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Frank A. Tiano said on Jan. 7 when the allegations first surfaced about potential inappropriate conduct by Holt, the Chelmsford Public Schools placed him on administrative leave. The Chelmsford Police were immediately contacted, as well as the Department of Children and Families.
