UPDATED: Chelmsford's Storm Closures and Cancellations
Several town offices are closed, as well as schools and libraries, but trash and recycling is on schedule for Monday, Feb. 9.
Monday’s snow is offering up a list of cancellations, as well as some safety reminders from town officials. Here’s what you need to know:
- Trash/Recycling on Schedule: Residential trash and recycling is being collected as scheduled.
- Winter Parking Ban in Effect: The parking ban is in effect from Sunday, Feb. 8 through Tuesday, Feb. 10 at noon. Residents are asked not to park any vehicles on any public street.
- Chelmsford Public Schools Closed: Schools are closed Monday. Athletics and adult education classes are also cancelled for Monday afternoon and Monday night.
- Libraries Closed: Both the Adams Library and the MacKay Library are closed.
- Senior Center Closed: The Chelmsford Senior Center is closed due to the storm.
