The deadline to obtain an absentee ballot will be Monday, April 2 at noon. Voters are eligible to vote by absentee ballot if they are unable to come to the polls in person on Election Day due to an absence from the Town of Chelmsford during polling hours; have a physical disability that prevents them from going to the polling place or for religious belief. Absentee ballots for the April 3 Annual Town Election will be available by the third week in March. Absentee ballot applications are available from the Office of the Town Clerk or by going on line to:
