Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra - Free Spring 'Pops' Concert

The Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra is hosting its Spring 'Pops' Concert, an exciting program with selections from Lord of the Rings, Oklahoma!, Tschaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, Joplin's Bethena, April in Paris, Rimsky-Korsakoff's Mlada, and Stars & Stripes.   This concert will feature a 15 year-old guest soloist, Winston Huang from Newton, our 2011 Jeanne Selander Memorial Concerto Competition Winner.    This talented young pianist will deliever a stunning and intense performance of Liszt's dramatic piece, Totentanz.     Handicap Accessible.  Admission is free, donations suggested.
