The Mystery Group picks two authors a month. Members read books by those authors and come prepared to discuss why they enjoyed these books better (or why they did not like them.) Were earlier books better crafted than more recent ones? Have characters developed over the years? Do you get a true sense of the place where the story is set? What good Mystery books have people read recently? The MacKay Library will have a variety of the featured authors' books available for loan in the month preceding each discussion.
