Fabulous Fashions and Beyond
This article gives information on a fundraiser conducted by the Chelmsford Garden Club.
The Chelmsford Garden Club will present Fabulous Fashions and Beyond on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Rd., No. Chelmsford, MA. The show will be hosted by CambridgeWear, 340 Great Road, Acton, MA and will feature their outstanding line of quality women’s wear. The doors will open at 6:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served and wine and water will be available for purchase. The evening has a number of exciting events to entertain and inspire everyone. There will be a display of four Floral Interpretations of Fashions that showcases the Club’s talented arrangers. The arrangements will be included in the Silent Auction. A looping slideshow will be on display which illustrates the work we do, the programs we see, the trips we take and the great parties we have. Some beautiful and valuable items are available on both the silent auction and the raffle tables. There are all kinds of desirable baskets, a handmade queen-size “dancing stars” quilt and numerous other items. There will be time to socialize and review the numerous raffle and silent auction items. At 7:30 the show will begin with a musical number and then members of the Garden Club will model both casual and elegant clothing with appropriate accessories.
Tickets will be $20 each available for purchase by calling Mary Lou Murphy 978-251-1635 or Connie at 978-256-0919. Tickets are also available at Harrington Liquor Store, 10 Summer St., Chelmsford. This will be the social event of the season and our only fundraiser. Order your tickets as soon as possible.
