This course will teach first aid according to American Heart Association Heartsaver standards. Upon completion, rescuers will be able to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. Topics include general principles, medical emergencies, and injury emergencies. Expect to pay $16 to the instructor for the required text and $5 for a course card to be awarded upon successful completion. Instructor: Joseph Frantiska
