Fitness Trailblazer to visit Windsoul Studio, Tyngsboro

California Native created Broga® - a form of Yoga that welcomes men to the mat.

This Sunday, March 15th at 11 a.m., Windsoul Studio in Tyngsboro,MA welcomes internationally recognized fitness instructor Robert Sidoti to the area for a rare workshop.

Originally a personal trainer in California, Robert has been featured in Time Magazine, Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Men’s Health and countless media outlets for creating a unique program that combines traditional exercise with yoga in an environment that is geared for men, but open to all called Broga®. The classes are now taught internationally with over 200 licensed instructors. Windsoul Studio is one of the only studios to offer an official Broga® class in the area on Thursday nights at 6:15 p.m. It’s that rare yoga class that is predominately men.

Local Broga instructor, Chuck Raffoni explains “ In addition to my other classes, Broga® helps me create a unique atmosphere that resonates with the modern guy who might be pressed for time and wants to incorporate a strong workout with time to chill out and gain flexibility. Women love it too though, because it gives them a little something extra from a traditional yoga class.”

“We’re really excited that Robert accepted our invitation” says studio co-owner Gail Lachs “ He usually trains new instructors or hosts retreats so it’s rare for him to offer a 3 hour session like this. “

“Robert is a really inspiring teacher and I can envision so many audiences benefitting from this workshop. Men of course, especially those who have had yoga on their “to try” list for awhile. Also couples, fathers & sons and even other female instructors who may not want to teach Broga but could gain some insight about the guys in their classes” says Raffoni.

Sidoti has been focused on creating a session that will feel like a journey of friends hanging out and working out together. “ I want to explore the Yin and Yang with a solid Broga® based workout but also take time to go deep with relaxation and some discussion. The session is not just for men, but also the women who care about them- wives, mothers, daughters, girlfriends etc. One of the goals of Broga is to ask ourselves how can we remind men that it’s ok to relax, take a few deep breathes, take time for themselves, care for themselves, express themselves without the fear of loosing their masculine identity”.

Don’t miss this opportunity on Sunday. Tickets are only $30.00 and can be reserved at : www.windsoulstudio.com More information at www.brogayoga.com
