A Peabody man was in court Wednesday after facing charges of forgery and larceny, accused of stealing more than $3,500 in rent checks from residents of the Chelmsford Commons Mobile Home Park where he was the former manager.
Myrmarie Ramirez, 35, of Peabody was released on personal recognizance following his court appearance, the Lowell Sun is reporting. According to the report, Ramirez pleaded not guilty to seven counts of forgery of a check, seven counts of uttering a false check and seven counts of larceny.
Court documents obtained by the Lowell Sun say last October police responded to the mobile home park after receiving calls from residents alleging fraud.
