Today's great escape is a Girls Night Out. Nothing refreshes the soul like conversation, food and drinks with your girlfriends. It is a chance to be with people who listen to you, support you, praise you and ask for nothing in return but the same.

They’re not looking for laundry that is right under their eyes, they are not looking for rides, they are not asking for a snack for the 5th time an hour before dinner. They just want to listen and laugh and help you put things into perspective. So for your much deserved Girls Night Out, I recommend three of the many wonderful restaurants we have in Chelmsford.
One is Feng Shui. Upstairs is a hibachi room, and it’s a little tricky to have a conversation there, but the food is great and the atmosphere is fun. Downstairs the tables are big and the food is also delicious. And if there is only a couple of you, the bar serves food and every time I sit there, the wait staff is very attentive.

I also recommend Café Madrid. Café Madrid has sangria and cheesecake, and Girls Night should always include dessert. It also has many ‘tapas’ or what we call appetizers. It is a great way to get food on the table that the whole group can share and enjoy.
The third place is probably my favorite restaurant in Chelmsford because I absolutely love seafood, and so I recommend Fishbones. The tables are also comfortable, the food is great, the drinks are yummy and they have delicious desserts.
So treat yourself, go out with the girls.
But do you and your dinner mates a favor and shut off your cell phone – will the world really end if you are unreachable for a few hours? Because you know the kids are going to text with something that definitely can wait – so make them. It will be good for all of you.
