Today we celebrate Mexico's victory in the Battle of Puebla by saving you money at area grocery stores.

On May 5, 1862, Mexican commander Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín defeated French forces at the Battle of Puebla.
While the French-backed Second Mexican Empire stayed in power for another five years, the battle marked a key symbolic victory for Mexican patriots and became commemorated with what we know today as the holiday of Cinco de Mayo.
