Ice Dam Workshop at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts

Chelmsford Saves is hosting a Workshop on Ice Dam Prevention at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, Seminar Room, 1A North Rd, Chelmsford

This workshop will explain the causes of ice dams and how to prevent them. Ice dams are thick ridges of ice that usually build up along roof eaves and gutters. The ice can damage shingles and gutters on the outside of your home, and lead to melt-water seeping inside the home. Water seeps can damage insulation and structural materials, cause staining, and result in mold and mildew.
