Recently, Indigo Salon & Spa in Lowell participated in the Aveda Clean Water Challenge by hosting a one-day Appointments for Clean Water event. The salon employees donated their time to the three-hour event and clients were offered 50% off treatments. The money collected from the event will be donated to the Aveda Clean Water Challenge.
Indigo Salon is still accepting donations until the end of April and has a goal of raising $1000 to support Aveda’s efforts to support programs throughout the world focused on protecting clean water for people and the planet. Since 1999, the Aveda network across the globe has raised more than $38 million for their non-profit Earth Month partners, and more than $32 million of those funds have supported clean water projects.
