UPDATED: Jackknifed Tractor Trailer Removed, All Lanes Open

A tractor trailer jackknifed on slippery roads in Chelmsford just after 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. Several motor vehicles were also involved in accidents in that area. The accident happened on Rte. 495 northbound at Rte. 110.

State Police said the truck was removed and all lanes open to traffic at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

As of 1:40 p.m., State Police say all lanes on the highway were still blocked. Traffic is currently exiting at Rte. 110 and getting back onto I-495 northbound.

There was a separate crash just before 2 p.m. at Rte. I-495 southbound at Exit 34 (Rte 110) in Chelmsford. The left lane is closed.

There were no reports of any injuries.
