Michigan State 41 – Duke 32
Michigan State guaranteed themselves a spot in the finals as they downed Duke 41-32. The Spartans were down 10-2 after the first quarter but caught fire with 3 pointers in the second quarter and took a 20-17 lead at the break. Jack Warnock connected on two from 3 point land ( 8 points for game) while Michael Scaplen had the other trey ( 5 points for the game) Michael Koechlin led Michigan State with 10 points on a number of nifty drives to the hoop. Mattew Delaflor scored 6 points while Alex Hill scored 5 points. Grant McEnaney scored 3 and did a good job on the boards while the victors also received solid contributions from Evan Smith, Andrew Donoghue, Derek Koechlin and Christopher Hibbard. Duke center James Lynch led all scorers with 13 points while Kyle Bond, Dean Carmen and Mike Russo scored 4 points.
Pittsburgh 43 – Ohio State 36
Pittsburgh stayed alive in the double elimination tournament with a 43-36 win over Ohio State. The score was tied at 22 at halftime and Pitt outscored OSU by 5 points in the third. Delanie Driscoll put up 14 points to keep his team in the Brotherhood Tournament. Dylan McCulre had 7 points and Matt Lopresti scored 6 points. Dean Trahan was outstanding in a losing effort scoring 14 points. Evan Lucy also played well with 8 points while Jordan Bukouricz scored 6 points and pulled down a number of rebounds
