A: My 2-year old. I wanted to have more flexibility in my work schedule, while doing something that I love.

Q: You've now been open for one year - what has your experience been like as a Chelmsford business owner?

A: The town has been very warm supportive to a new business. I get feedback on what we're doing right, and what we can improve on. This helps us continuously provide better products and services.

Q: What is your favorite kind of cake to make (and kind to eat)?

A: My favorite cakes to do are children's cakes. They are so fun and whimsical, and I can imagine the delight on their faces when they first see their cake.  I love all the cakes we sell, but I'm a chocoholic, so loads of chocolate on chocolate on chocolate works for me.

Q: How long have you been making cakes and what do you love about it?

A: I've been making cakes since I was a kid. I love baking them, especially decorating and eating them.

Q: What flavors or treats would you recommend for the first time Kéyks shopper?

A: I'd go with our triple chocolate.  It's a moist chocolate cake with fudge and chocolate buttercream. If you're not a chocolate person, try our Italian Cream.  It's a vanilla cake with coconut, and cream cheese frosting and walnuts.  Yum!
