Lynnway Auto Auction Crash Victims ID'd

Authorities have identified the three people killed Wednesday when a worker at the Billerica auction accidentally drove through the crowd.

BILLERICA, MA – Authorities have released the identities of the three people who were killed Wednesday at the Lynnway Auto Auction in Billerica when a worker accidentally drove through the crowd. Brenda Lopez, 48, and Pantaleon Santos, 49, both of Rhode Island, were pronounced dead at the scene. Leezandra Aponte, 36, of Lowell, was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office.

Eight people were treated at the hospital and released:

  • Male, 40
  • Male, 50
  • Male, 51
  • Male, 51
  • Male, 55

A 55-year-old man remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
