The Millstream Foundation in partnership with Boy Scout Troop 75 and Crew #7 will be hosting a giant yard sale at the historic Mill Site, 99 Mill Road in Chelmsford on May 2, 2015 at 9 AM. The yard sale will feature antiques, household items, toys, records, furniture, books, china and more. Proceeds from the sale will be used for the restoration of the historic Mill site and to support the scouting program. The Mill site was developed by the late Lloyd C. Greene, Jr. who discovered the long-abandoned property originally owned by Col. Samuel Adams. The property became the site of the first grist and small mill in Chelmsford. Mr. Greene moved his record manufacturing business to the Mill site in 1955 and devoted his life to the restoration of the dam and mill complex. Please stop by the sale and support the important restoration work of the Historic Mill site.
