Nashoba Tech AP Biology Students Participate in River Classroom

Seniors in the Andrea Knowles’ Advanced Placement Biology class at Nashoba Valley Technical High School recently visited the Nashua River Watershed Association’s headquarters in Groton to participate in its River Classroom, where they learned about the Nashua River’s past, present and future. Students also got to canoe on the river and test the water’s pH density, dissolved oxygen and water turbidity, then scooped invertebrates from shallow water and identified the life forms along the water’s edge.
