"Oprah Favorite" GIRISH brings Sky of The Heart Tour to area

This Saturday, April 11th at 5:00 p.m. Windsoul Studio welcomes popular world music recording artist GIRISH to the area on his ”Sky of The Heart” Tour. The evening will be multifaceted, offering something for everyone. As Girish performs, several instructors from the studio will lead a gentle yoga class so that you can move with the music that is popular during many yoga classes. The yoga movement is optional, as the studio offers plenty of space for those who would prefer to just come for the live music. The evening will also incorporate meditation and select ticket holders who reserve by April 7th will have a chance to stay for a post show dinner with Girish.

In addition to his current release GIRISH has released numerous best selling CDs, performed around the world and was featured in Oprah’s ”O” Magazine for relaxing music. He is best known for his single ”Diamonds in the Sun”.

“We have been planning this event for quite awhile ” says studio owner Gail Lachs ” We like to have a variety of events that nurture the spirit and music certainly does that. We created a wish list and Girish was at the top. When we realized we could make that a reality for the community, we jumped at the chance.”

“I play his music in class all the time because he crosses boundaries so it can fit different moods and energy levels” says instructor Chuck Raffoni. “it’s going to be surreal to have that playlist come to life!”
