The Paul Center for Learning and Recreation To Host Celebration of Giving Gala
*Silent Auction * Taste Extravaganza

Chelmsford, MA-The Paul Center for Learning and Recreation, Inc. will host a Gala on Friday, September 26, 2014 to honor its generous supporters for their continued dedication to its mission of assisting children and young adults with disabilities to develop their maximum potential and independence.
The event will be held at the Radisson Hotel and Suites in Chelmsford from 7 to 11pm.
A Taste of appetizers, entrees and desserts from local restaurants will be featured along with a chance to bid in a silent auction as well as raffle items. Ralph Funaro, vocalist and D.J. will provide the entertainment. Admission is $45 in advance and $50 at the door. This year’s celebration will recognize the following Corporate and Non-Profit honorees:
Boston Center for Blind Children for their generous grants towards facility improvement, equipment acquisition, scholarships for students and educational purchases for our programs; Kronos Inc. for their continuous volunteering, improving our campus landscape and facilities, painting and repairing many cabins; Knights of Columbus for countless hours of volunteering at the annual “Special Needs Fair” held on our campus and more recently the renovation of the Gazebo which is a favorite amongst the students; LifeLinks Inc. for their partnership in our first Summer Swim Club and collaboration on training and certification of staff. Individual awards will be given to George Dixon, Michele Saba, Sarah Mosher and Jordan Werst for their outstanding service and commitment to individuals with disabilities.

“We are very excited about honoring our corporate and non-profit sponsors as well as staff members and volunteers who continue to show unwavering support for our students and families at The Paul Center,” said Paula Bye, Director of The Paul Center.
The Paul Center for Learning and Recreation, Inc. founded in 1968 is a non-profit that provides year-round education, recreation and social opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities from MA and NH. It is located on a beautiful 16-acre wooded campus that includes cabins, nature trails, swimming pool and speech/language and occupational therapy facilities, all of which provide a unique learning environment. The Paul Center currently offers programs for extended school year, overnight summer camp, and school vacation weeks.
