PDFs: Town Responds to Van Liew's Third Records Request

Town Manager Paul Cohen provided documents after an additional request from Roland Van Liew.

The town has responded to Roland Van Liew's third public records request, which was sent to the town on Jan. 13, with documents relating to his search for contracts for studies, ambulance service studies, and studies relating to 40B developments.

By state law, the town has 10 days to respond to the request - making Monday, Jan. 23 the 10th day.

The town provided Van Liew with a proposal from MMA Consulting to conduct a fire services study; the town's request for proposals for a fire services study; a contract with Weston and Sampson for a fire deparment feasibility study; and a contract with Connery Associates for a study on the fiscal impact services for three 40B projects.

Town Manager Paul Cohen said the town does not have any contracts for studies regarding whether the town should take over ambulance services. Cohen said a study was done on the matter, but it was done by a committee of volunteers. A list of those volunteers is included in the documents above.

Cohen said all the contracts included went out to bid according to state law.
