Police Log: Gas Odor Reported, Burst Pipe and Several Motor Vehicle Accidents

Sunday, August 17

9:24 a.m. - Motor vehicle accident with injuries at Chelmsford Street and Rte. 4095. Motor vehicle went off the roadway.

10:35 a.m. - Police investigated a natural gas odor at the Shell Food Mart, 189 Chelmsford St.

12:17 p.m. - Reports of a vehicle fire, in the area of Rte. 3 and Exit 33.

Monday, August 18

8:02 a.m. - An elevator was stuck at a Sumner Street residence.

9:21 a.m. - Police checked for a gas leak, in the area of 50 Billerica Road.

9:27 a.m. - Reports of a vehicle fire on Rte. 495 and Exit 33. Units checked the area.

Tuesday, August 19

11:07 a.m. - Reported vehicle fire from Massachusetts State Police in the area of Rte. 495 and the north rest area.

Wednesday, August 20

1:43 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident with injuries and airbag deployment at 125 Westford St.

4:39 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident with injuries Groton Road and Rte. 3.

Thursday, August 21

3:11 p.m. - Reports of a possible vehicle on the rotary on Rte. 3.

4:31 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident with injuries on Rte. 495 at Exit 33.

5:19 p.m. - Possible pipe bus in the area of Davis Road and Old Westford Road.

Friday, August 22

7 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident, Dunshire Drive and Dunstable Road. Two vehicles involved.
