School Committee Members Say They Stand by Superintendent
Most believe he can get them out of financial situation the department is in.

The majority of the town’s School Committee members don’t plan on taking any action against the towns’ superintendent and believe he will help them get out of the financial mess they are in, the Lowell Sun is reporting.
Earlier this month close to 100 residents, teachers and parents attended a School Committee meeting expressing their concern about recent layoffs due to budget issues in the town’s school department. The deficits in the department led to the decision to move forward with layoffs.
Several School Committee members told the Lowell Sun they plan to stand by Superintendent Frank Tiano and have no plans to take action against him.
