Curran is set to begin his new position in October. Current Fire Chief Jack Parow is retiring, as he has recently been appointed president of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.</li> <li>School Committee meets Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the School Administration Office. The committee will discuss replacing the windows at Chelmsford High and the roof at Byam Elementary School. The committee will also receive updates on transporation, enrollment and class sizes.</li> <li>The Community Preservation Committee meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. The committee will hold a public hearing on an affordable housing proposal.</li> <li>The Master Plan Committee meets Thursday at 6:30 at Town Hall. This meeting is the final public input session for the town's Master Plan.</li> </ul>
