Sex Offender Caught By 'Alert Karaoke Fan' In Chelmsford: ICYMI
Ronald Duby, a wanted sex offender, was arrested after he was recognized singing karaoke in Chelmsford, authorities said.
CHELMSFORD, MA — A sex offender was recently arrested after he was recognized singing karaoke at a Chelmsford establishment, according to U.S. Marshals. Ronald Duby, of Nashua, New Hampshire, was arrested in Chelmsford Saturday. He had been wanted for failing to register with police per the terms of his sex offender conviction, authorities said.

In 1995, Duby was convicted of raping a victim under the age of 13. On Saturday, an "alert karaoke fan" recognized Duby and contacted police, according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Jeffrey White. Ruby was arrested without incident.
