UPDATED: Cohen, Eliopoulos Cleared by Ethics Commission on 9 North Road Allegations
The Ethics Commission reviewed the allegations and terminated the matter.

The state has reviewed the regarding 9 North Road and decided to terminate the matter and close the case.
According to a letter Cohen received yesterday, which was given to Patch with his permission to print, the state board said it met in executive session to review the allegations.
"Based on a report submitted by staff, the Commission voted to terminate this matter," the letter reads. "This case is officially closed."

If the state had found a violation, Cohen said the matter would have been made public, and therefore allowed this letter to be published.
Philip Eliopoulos, whose family owns the building at 9 North Road and uses it as office space, received a similar letter from the state:

"As you know, the Commission has been reviewing information relating to your representation of Epsilon Group, LLC in connection with the purchase of a parcel of land on North Road and your representation of Epsilon Group, LLC before various town boards while you were serving as a member of the Master Plan Committee," the letter read. " ... This case is officially closed."
