Traffic Alert: Emergency Pole Repair Acton Road

Crews are on the scene of an emergency utility pole repair on Acton Road near Proctor Road (Kate’s Corner). This is the cause for the power outage in the area, and is expected to be restored later today.

Officials said just after noon on Monday, Verizon, National Grid and Comcast will be on scene all afternoon and most likely into the evening commute. Traffic on Acton Road is being detoured, and drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
