Treible Reappointed to Finance Committee

The following was submitted by Town Moderator Richard E. DeFreitas.

Town Moderator, Richard E. DeFreitas has reappointed Roy Treible to another full three-year term, expiring June 30, 2014. Mr. Treible presently serves on the Finance Committee. This reappointment will extend his distinguished career on the Committee.

In addition, Mr. DeFreitas has made two new appointments to the Finance Committee as follows...

Sasha Bonakdar has been appointed to a full three-year term expiring June 30, 2014. Mr. Bonakdar has been working in science, with his most recent focus being oncology research at a large biotech company.  Bridging the gap between his interests, he has recently completed an MBA with a concentration in finance from Northeastern University.  After moving to North Chelmsford with his wife in 2009, Sasha has been eager to contribute to his community.  With his appointment to the Finance Committee, Sasha brings his training in finance as well as a desire to help the town plan for a sustainable future."

Stratos G. Dukakis has been appointed to fill an unexpired two-year term expiring in June 2013. Mr Dukakis has been involved in regional vocational school finances since 1971. He holds a B.S.E.E. degree from U of Mass Amherst, an  M.S. in Engineering Management from Northeastern University and an Honorary Doctorate of Education from Fitchburg State College. He brings a wealth of school budget knowledge to the Finance Committee. His input will be a valuable asset.
