UFO Sightings in Chelmsford? Here's the List

Are UFOs real? That's beyond Patch's brand of locality. But there have been reports of them around town, some dating back to the 70s in the National UFO Reporting Center files.

Massachusetts residents reported more than 100 UFO sightings in 2016 alone. Chelmsford hasn't seen one since 2015.

Here's the list of Chelmsford sightings from the National UFO Reporting Center:

Nov. 1, 2015: Green comet-like light

Nov. 7, 2010: Bright light over Chelmsford

Dec. 14, 2005: Bring light covered distance in seconds

April 29, 2005: Resembled what the ISS looks like when it went overhead one night (The UFO Reporting Center says there was a missile launch this night.)

March 14, 2003: You can see it 4 0'clock direction from moon now!! it look s like cigar and bright and does not move. it is staying same position now.

Aug. 9, 1993: A friend and i were going home i noticed three lights just above the treeline of a local park

May 10, 1992: Large triangular object

Nov. 28, 1978: 1 mother ship with her smaller ones
