Visitors Welcome at High Holiday Services at Congregation Shalom in Chelmsford

Adults and families observing the High Holidays are welcome to be part of the Congregation Shalom services, with no tickets or RSVP needed.

The Jewish High Holidays are a time for reflection, introspection, prayer, and reconnection. Congregation Shalom, a Reform Jewish Congregation serving Chelmsford and a large surrounding area in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, invites all interested to join them in celebrating and observing these special Holy days. Congregation Shalom is located at 87 Richardson Road in North Chelmsford and is wheelchair accessible.

Come share the spirit and wisdom of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with the Congregation Shalom family. The schedule offers a wide variety of services to meet the spiritual needs of all generations. They are led by Rabbi Shoshana Perry, with Jodi Blankstein as the cantorial soloist. The services called “Family services,” geared to meet the needs of families with children in grades 2 through 6, include a Torah service and a shorter sermon meant to speak to everyone from this age range up through adults. The Family Services are not meant for younger children and toddlers, who are very welcome at the afternoon Children’s Services. The schedule of services is as follows:
