Vote Merrill for property-tax relief and preservation of open space

Vote Merrill for property-tax relief and preservation of open space. Please Vote Laura Merrill for Chelmsford Board of Selectmen.

Vote Merrill for property-tax relief and preservation of open space Laura and her family have lived in Chelmsford for 20 years. Her children attend Parker Middle School and Chelmsford High School. She works as a software developer of business solution applications. Laura, a two-term Precinct 2 Town Meeting rep, is an independent and unbiased candidate who will work diligently to deliver a town government that is accountable, fiscally responsible and transparent. Her professional development background will help to drive an open-minded approach to problem solving, an analysis of costs and risks based on factual data and solution delivery inclusive of multiple stakeholder inputs. She will bring a fresh perspective to the BOS. Slowing the growth of Chelmsford's rising property taxes is one of her major priorities, as many residents feel they are being "taxed out of town." She considers herself a "Yankee Spender" and will use the same values when voting to spend resident's money. She wants to reduce capital spending; stop replacing retired debt with new debt and begin to provide meaningful tax relief for all Chelmsford residents. Open space preservation is also a priority on her agenda. She was an Open Space Steward for the Deep Brook Preservation and continues to support volunteer efforts to preserve and protect Chelmsford's open spaces. Please take time out of your busy schedules to vote Laura Merrill for Board of Selectmen on April 7. Nancy D'Arcy Chelmsford, MA
