Truck Driver/Laborer, Highway Division

Application period closes on March 13

According to the job post, the full-time, 40 hour per week Truck Driver/Laborer in the Highway Division provides roadway maintenance. Duties include operating sanders and dump trucks and performing manual labor tasks to include, but not limited to, patching pot holes, cutting brush, cleaning and repairing catch basins, cleaning drainage lines, assisting in installing drainage pipes, as well as plowing snow, snow removal, sanding and salting operations. Perform drainage and sidewalk construction projects, sweep sidewalks and streets; replace street signs.

Hourly rate is $22.4920 with full benefits. After 60 days, employee in this position becomes dues paying member of the Chelmsford Public Works Association, Highway Employees.

Companion Care

Application period closes on March 6 at 4 p.m.

According to the job post, the Companion Basic role is to provide non-medical companionship and supervisory care to isolated and/or convalescent elders.

Hours are two hours at a time, minimum, per client
