Your Chelmsford Weather: Week Starts Off Hot, Then Turns Wet

It’s a big vacation week for many coming off the Fourth of July weekend, but it might be a little wet.

Warm weather starts the week with highs in the upper 80s. There’s a chance of rain Tuesday, which will hang around Wednesday and could be back Friday.

Here’s a look at this week’s forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

• Monday: Partly cloudy starting in the afternoon, continuing until evening with a high of 87 and a low of 62.

• Tuesday: Tuesday brings a 50-percent chance of light rain until evening, with a high of 84 and a low of 63.

• Wednesday: A 65-percent chance of rain starting in the afternoon, with a high of 85 and low of 70.

• Thursday: The forecast calls for clouds throughout the day. with a 1-percent chance of rain. The high will be 79, and the low is set for 65.

• Friday: There’s a 72-percent chance of rain in the forecast, and the high will be 80, with a low of 64.
