Yuanji Daoyin (YJDY) is a combination of meditation and gentle exercise, characterized by spiraling movements while stretching. It is the integration of ancient forms of meditation and Taiji with 40 years of experience of Dr. Jing Liu’s practice in medicine.“Dao Yin” was the ancient name for “Qigong” a thousand years ago. “Yuan Ji” means the body moves in the orbit of a circle or coil while stretching. The practice of YJDY integrates the benefits of Qigong, Taiji and other forms of martial arts to create maximum health benefits. The primary benefit is the improvement of body flexibility and the balance of physical energy. Every set of exercises has its roots both in traditional and modern medical science.
