• Three citizen's petitions to be considered at Special Town Meeting, including repealing single-use plastic water bottle ban (cohassetanchor.com) — Cohasset voters will decide at the Oct. 26 Special Town Meeting whether to repeal the town's single-use plastic water bottle ban, restrict certain leaf blowers in summer, and add new oversight for police Flock surveillance cameras. Select Board members and town counsel are weighing privacy, grant funding, and youth health concerns, while emphasizing there have been no reported camera misuses in Cohasset. 
• Village Parking Task Force members named; will take '360-degree look' at parking situation (cohassetanchor.com) — Cohasset's Select Board has created a seven-member Village Parking Task Force to take a comprehensive look at downtown parking and recommend improvements within six months. Members include representatives from the Cohasset Police Department, DPW, local businesses, and the Cohasset Chamber of Commerce. Residents can expect a progress update in three months and a final report to guide future changes.
