RESTAURANT OWNER IN CONCORD AND ACTON

Genevieve E. (Mullen) Fraticelli, 96, of Acton, formerly of Concord died Saturday May 19, 2012 in Acton. She was the beloved wife of 36 years of the late Umberto "Alfie" Fraticelli who died in 1980.


Born in Newton on November 10, 1915 she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (McDonough) Mullen. She attended Concord schools and was a graduate of Concord High School. She was married to Mr. Fraticelli in 1944.


For several years, she and her husband owned and operated The Dinner Bell restaurant on Concord's Milldam and The Actonian restaurant at Kelly's Corner in Acton.
A longtime Concord resident, she has lived in Acton since 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary P. "Mimi" Voss and her husband Thomas of Monkton, Maryland and Janice M. Larkins and her husband William of Acton, five grandchildren, Matthew, Samuel, Elizabeth, Emily, and Benjamin and three great-grandchildren, Caroline , Lily and Genevieve. She was also the sister of the late Patrick and John Mullen, Catherine Kennedy, Agnes Sloan and Margaret Eddy.

4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be on Tuesday May 22nd from 4 to 7 pm.


Service:

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 23rd at 10 am in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center.


Cemetery:

Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Concord.
