The show at the Albright Art + Craft Gallery features canvases by Nicholas Kozak who paints in a realistic genre, but with an introspective overlay.
"My art is considered genre painting," Kozak wrote, "more specifrically, petit genre, a term referring to ordinary people and things in everyday life."
Canvases show a woman raiding the fridge, two women at a yard sale, and the head of a woman talking on a cell phone.
