Barefoot Books Schedules Kids' Events

Steve Songs family performance on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m.

Family favorite Steve Songs will be giving a free concert for families at our Concord store. A rising star on the national kids' music scene, Steve has collaborated with Barefoot Books on a number of projects, including the popular Driving My Tractor and Knick Knack Paddy Whack. Come early to get a good seat and get ready for lots of toe-tapping fun!

Creative Arts Workshop with Clare Beaton: Friday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, August 15  at 1 p.m.

Popular Barefoot illustrator, Clare Beaton, will be conducting creative arts workshops for children ages 3 and up in our store. Come meet Clare and see first-hand how she creates hand-sewn collages that make her books adored by children and families. Participants of this very special free event will create some special treasures to take home. Clare has illustrated many best-selling Barefoot books, including Baby's First Book, Mother Goose Remembers, PlayTime Rhymes for Little People and our new titles: Clare Beaton's Action Rhymes and Nursery Rhymes.
